L-3 Avionics is a strong advocate of counterfeit parts awareness and mitigation and has taken many strides to ensure the safety to our customers and reliable, safe operation of our products. To prevent the proliferation of suspect counterfeit parts in our supply chain, L-3 Avionics is committed to purchasing parts only from the Original Component Manufacturer (OCM), an authorized franchisor for an OCM or from an Independent Distributor approved by L-3 Avionics that meets the requirements of IDEA-STD-1010 & SAE AS5553 and have a Quality Management System certified to AS9120:2002.
